In a market crowded with craft breweries, Indian Ocean Brewing Co. stands out for its independence and commitment to quality. Unlike many breweries that have been acquired by large beer companies, we remain proudly independent, allowing us to stay true to our craft. Our strategic location north of Perth and our focus on using premium ingredients set us apart. We take our brewing seriously, but we also know how to have fun, ensuring that our beers are not only top-quality but also accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

THE BREWERS

Led by Head Brewer Tom Fleay, who brings over a decade of experience to the craft. Alongside his assistant Mike, Tom’s passion and expertise shine through in every batch we produce.

Both brewers have honed their skills in craft breweries across Australia, amassing a wealth of knowledge that they bring to Indian Ocean Brewing Co. Their dedication to the craft ensures that every beer we make is a testament to quality and innovation.

THE BREWERY

One of the first craft breweries in Western Australia. Indian Ocean Brewing was established in 2005 and designed in Canada. Our brewery has undergone significant upgrades to enhance our production capabilities. Today, we produce over 250,000 litres of beer annually, with each batch meticulously
handcrafted using manual valves and hoses. This hands-on approach allows
us to maintain the artisanal quality of our beers. Visitors are welcome to tour
our facility at The Marina, Mindarie, where they can see, hear, and smell the
brewing process in action.

THE BEERS

At Indian Ocean Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on our diverse and award-winning range of beers.

Our core lineup includes everything from classic lagers to bold NEIPA’s, each crafted with the finest local and imported ingredients.

Every four to six weeks, our team releases a small-batch specialty beer, ensuring there’s always something new and exciting for our customers. Whether you’re enjoying a crisp, refreshing lager or a robust, hop-forward IPA, our beers are made to the highest standards of quality and taste.
